The seasick opening riff is a call to arms for a jackbooted stax beat. Fuzz bass kicks in and the whole motorcade really gets rolling. The hapless folks on the dance floor are stupid with anxiety, and the whole thing feels flammable, like we’re two murdered dachshunds away from a real shit show.

Like the previous singles ‘Thin Aspiration’, ‘Here They Come Again’ and ‘Play and Share’, ‘How To Generate a Summer Song’ is accompanied by animated video clip created by Ross McLennan.
